Furthermore, Dr. Mahat appealed for an augmentation of British investments aimed at mitigating climate change within Nepal. Treasury Minister Penn affirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to Nepal's economic growth and expressed a willingness to sustain this support.
Dr. Mahat also pledged his commitment to assisting Nepal in the domain of green finance. He expressed his intention to encourage the British private sector to increase its investments in Nepal's green energy sector. The meeting saw the participation of Nepali Ambassador to the UK, Gyan Chandra Acharya, and Deputy Head of Mission Roshan Khanal.
Minister Mahat, who journeyed to London to attend a high-level investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy in London, engaged in discussions about long-term financial prospects for renewable energy development in Nepal. This event, held in collaboration with the Nepali Embassy and the Dolma Foundation, was attended by various key figures.
Minister Dr. Mahat assured foreign investors of the Nepal government's commitment to guaranteeing the security of their investments. He also disclosed that efforts were underway to streamline the process of dividend repatriation for foreign investors. Additionally, steps have been initiated to enhance the country's credit rating in order to improve the investment climate.

Adil Ansari of Standards Charter Bank provided his perspective on Sovereign Bonds, while the newly elected Lord Mayor, Prof. Michael Menally, discussed Policy Performance Bonds.
