There is a partial influence of Monsoon wind in Nepal along with the low-pressure area surrounding the northwest of the Bay of Bengal. Light rain is taking place in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces in the morning.
There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces today, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology of Meteorological Forecasting Division. Similarly, there will be partial to normal showers across the country this afternoon.
There will be partly to general changes in the weather across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of the hilly areas of the country and one or two places in the rest of the country. There is also a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces.
